One of France’s first winter sports resorts in the well-known resort of Chamonix is at the foot of Mont Blanc where the first Olympic Games were held in 1924. The off-piste tour through the Vallée Blanche is famous in this resort. This journey stretches over 21 km and lasts for four hours partly going over a glacier. Advanced skiers must definitely take this run when visiting this ski resort. It is best to take a guide with you as there are some dangerous parts. This is an absolute must for anyone with guts!

Make a langlauf trip from your cottage

This resort has a total of 42 km of cross-country ski runs for cross-country skiers. All the runs are part of a circuit with the longest route being red-black and which stretches for 30 km through the wooded region. Here, you can also take a great walk through the magnificent nature.
