The beautiful beach Montalvo bay is right next to the property, you can hear the waves from the balcony. This is the main reason to stay here, with a great view of Ons Island which is also worth a visit by boat from Porto Novo . The apartment is very clean and tidy, with good size rooms and new furniture. The host greeted us and was approachable and helpful. There are a few bars and cafes in walking distance and a short drive to local shops in Portonovo Improvements could be written instructions to use kitchen equipment and so on and also some maps/ info about the local area.
We hadden met z'n zessen een ruime etage met balkon. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Eigenaar bracht ons naar de fietsenverhuur en het busstation in Sanxenxo. Vrijwel enkel Spanjaarden gezien prettig contact. Bezoek Pontevedra (oude Romeinse binnenstad) per bus was de moeite waard. Fijn zandstrand met frisse aanrollende golven.
Bij aankomst geen ontvangst, maar sleutel lag wel klaar bij de voordeur. Door persoonlijke omstandigheden is de eigenaar verhinderd. Ook bij vertrek was een sleutel in de slot achter laten voldoende. Het weer zat niet mee, dus hebben we om heaters gevraagd, die prompt direct werden afgeleverd aan huis. Nadeel huis geen dekbedden, maar wollen dekens. Verder een grandiose uitvalsbasis voor wandeltochten langs het strand, mooie zonsondergang. Leuke en gezellige dorpjes in de buurt waar de seafood overvloedig aanwezig is. Prima voor een week vertoeven in Galicia. Advies een map met lokale bezienswaardigheden/uitstapjes etc,
Het verblijf is werkelijk schitterend gelegen direct aan een prachtig strand \/ een prachtige baai. Het verblijf is ruim en netjes. In de omgeving is veel te doen. Galicië is een mooie vakantie bestemming.
