The negatives: The check-in for this place is not convenient at all. You have to walk to a nearby place to get the keys from a lockbox, and then go to the apartment. The instructions for finding the apartment in the building is also difficult, a couple of the pictures were out of order, and there was a picture missing of the apartment door itself. A sign would be nice. There were also several automated messages giving the wrong address for the keys. There are several flights of stairs with no elevator for luggage. There's also construction on the building, and the area seemed a bit sketchy. There is indeed a sex shop on the street, but our kids didn't realize what it was. There was no nudity or anything on the storefront, but just be aware. There are two bathrooms, but only one has a toilet. I wish the sofa beds were already made up when we got there. We had to do it ourselves late at night after the horrible check-in process. Also, only one roll of toilet paper, so host needs to add more supplies for guests. The positives: The location is very close to metro stations, which was very nice. We also walked to lots of places like the Louvre, Sacre Couer, and Notre Dame. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable. The showerheads are amazing. There is a washer, but no dryer rack. You must hang dry your clothes on the rack. The wifi is also good. The check in process needs to be fixed, but this apartment is doable for a family, as long as you're aware of the negatives in advance.
