Pic on website is not the same as the house. Very steep stairs do not have a handrail and my son fell. 2nd bedroom is hot and NO storage. We stayed in Dec and would not stay again. Front door key is tricky.
I booked this place with my elderly mother and aunt in mind, not knowing that the rooms were down a narrow and steep set of stairs with no hand rail. The second smaller bedroom smells like mold and there’s no ventilation in any of the rooms. The WiFi also doesn’t reach the dungeon-like space below. Upstairs is nice and is the only space with AC.
Not quite as good as the photos but more than adequate. Great location.
The location of the property was perfect. Very convenient and in a fun area. The bedrooms and bathrooms are in the lower level and are poorly ventilated. They smell like sewage. Fans are needed. The owner was left 5 messages and never responded.
6 Rue St Bon is advertised as a ground floor apartment with bedrooms and bathrooms all on ground floor. In reality, the bedrooms and bathrooms are down a flight of stairs with no handrails. I was guaranteed this unit was ground level because my 80 year old parents could not navigate stairs. Belvilla was immediately called and they did absolutely nothing to remedy this awful situation. Next, the sofa bed was broken so we slept on the floor for 6 nights in Paris. Also, the sink in one bathroom leaks into the cabinet and soaks everything. The other bathrooms sink would not drain. The WiFi, televisions, and air conditioning didn’t work in the bedrooms. I called and emailed Belvilla and Check My Guest every day of our Paris vacation for help and they did NOTHING. Our big family vacation was ruined. I am still waiting on a refund and compensation. They did not provide for the services I paid.
We repeated reached out to owner and they never replied during our stay. The listing says beds for 6 but there was only beds for four because the pull out couch was broken... slats that hold up the mattress were missing (we later found one slat in the closet)... so owner new about defect. At night two slots slipped out while we were sleeping and there was a HUGE sag in the mattress... almost laying completely on the floor. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Not acceptable sleeping arrangements. We reach out the the owner/management company and they never responded back. We've asked for a partial refund and no response. Be very careful with this unit... not as promised and very poor customer service if something is wrong.
