Locked out from the apartment Las Colinas Golf resort / apartment Tipuana ES-03189-89 To whom it might concern by Belvilla, R&B or the owner of the apartment. We pass you this claim, as we had a very terrifying incident, in the apartment we rented via Belvilla. We arrived Tuesday the 05/7-22 around 6pm, after 18 hours of traveling. After dinner around 8pm, we went for a swim in the pool. Just wearing bathing clothes and 1 set of keys, we closed the door to the apartment. Trying to enter the apartment again, we were unable to unlock the door. We tried to contact the agency who made the handover of the keys (R&B homes), but they were closed. We got in contact with security, who also tried to enter…without succes. With help from security, we got a name for a locksmith, which we contacted. They arrived around 11pm, and 30 minuts later, we were able to enter the apartment again. This was for a cost of € 288,- The rootcause for the door jam, was the secound set of keys, which were still on the inside, stuck in the door. By the handover of keys and in the introduction to the apartment, we were not informed about “do not leave your keys in the door inside, if you go out”, nor is this set as an information/instruction, in the material of the apartment. So we found ourself totally unaware about the very unpleasent situation we had to experiance, nor did we do this by accident or other purpose… we did simply not have the nessecary information. Our family had a very ugly experiance that evening, so we claim a refund for the amount we had to pay from the locksmith. We look forward to hear from you again, and your accept for the full refund of the cost we had, to enter the apartment again Thanks for your attention. ——- Beside this, the pool needs a complete cleaning, as there are algae many places at the inside of the pool. Especially in the filter zones. We also miss an iron, and a couple of new chairs in the living room would be fine ( there are holes in 2 chairs, this is covered with a blanket ) The 2 deck chairs at the balkon, are rusty So some refreshment is to wish. I can understand your frustration and inconvenience when not having been able to enter the apartment after having left a key in the lock on the inside. The keyholder (R&B Homes) can be reached on the landline phone during office hours and on the mobile phone 24h a day. These phone numbers can be found on the voucher ticket. Regarding the other issues mentioned: - Small algae in the pool: This is a small problem being treated, which can happen between 2 visits by the pool specialist - The iron is in the laundry room cupboard at the end of the kitchen (vacuum cleaner, stepladder, iron, cleaning and dishwasher equipment and cleaning products and maintenance tools etc.) - 2 armchairs in the living room have been damaged by tenants. While waiting to replace them (not easy to find), we covered them with a temporary protection, but there are no holes in these chairs. - The deckchairs available on the terrace are very comfortable but have some small slightly rusty metal parts, which are absolutely no problem but will be replaced pretty soon.

We booked and used a voucher, so all is super fine, However we passed a question to customer service about late arrival, and here we still have no replay,,now more than 1 week ago, Thats not ok,

Een modern appartement gelegen in een rustig en exclusief golfresort. Heel belangrijk, er is voldoende schaduw op het terras gedurende de ganse dag. Dus, elke maaltijd of koffiepauze werd buiten, op het terras, genuttigd. Het terras is zeker ruim genoeg. Ook in het hoogseizoen (augustus) was het gemeenschappelijk zwembad nooit overbevolkt, ideaal dus. Een technisch probleem in het zwembad werd heel vlug opgelost, met dank aan de huisbeheerder, de eigenaar en uiteraard de Spaanse onderhoudsman. Het appartement/domein is een goede uitvalsbasis om uitstapjes te doen of om naar het strand te gaan. Een wagen is noodzakelijk. Een echte aanrader dus!
