Ai piedi dei Monti Metalliferi tra Meißen, Freiberg e Dresda si trova la proprietà lunga un chilometro su cui si trova Villa Rotschönberg, direttamente sulla riva del fiume Freiberger Mulde, circondata da parchi e dalla propria foresta. La villa del fabbricante ha alle spalle una storia più lunga: dal 1830 faceva parte di un lavatoio di minerali d'argento, in seguito sede di una macina legno e di una fabbrica di cartone. Nel 1904 tutti gli edifici della fabbrica furono ricostruiti in stile Liberty. Nel 1958 la cartiera andò completamente a fuoco; solo la villa poteva essere salvata. Dal 1990 al 2019, l'artista TM Rotschönberg ha ricostruito l'edificio e l'intera proprietà con i più alti standard per metterlo a disposizione anche degli ospiti in vacanza. Perché un luogo così attraente e allo stesso tempo appartato si trova raramente. Da qui si possono fare gite a Meissen, Dresda (un viaggio in battello a vapore nella Svizzera sassone è un'esperienza indimenticabile), al Museo Minerario di Freiberg o al Castello di Augustusburg. La pista ciclabile Mulde segnalata da Holzau a Dessau tocca la proprietà, ma si possono programmare anche diversi percorsi ciclabili di lunghezza compresa tra 30 e 60 km, che iniziano e terminano presso la casa, lungo sentieri nei campi e nei boschi. Le biciclette sono disponibili per il prestito. Allo stesso modo, i sentieri escursionistici attraverso il paesaggio modellato dall'estrazione dell'argento invitano il turista vivace, che può ammirare i numerosi monumenti tecnici oltre alla natura intatta qui. Ma se non vuoi assolutamente lasciare la proprietà di 40.000 m², sei altrettanto ben consigliato, perché l'idillio tranquillo del parco e della riva del fiume è rilassante quanto è stimolante fare il bagno nelle limpide acque del Mulde. Gli ospiti affittano l'intero secondo piano di Villa Rotschönberg, che dispone di 200 m² di quattro camere da letto, un soggiorno, un'ampia cucina e una sala club con tavolo da biliardo, organo elettronico e biblioteca.
We hebben enorm genoten van twee weken in dit prachtige appartement. Ondanks dat het veel regende hebben we ons niet verveeld. In de omgeving is genoeg te zien, en de jongens hebben veelvuldig gebruik gemaakt van de pooltafel. Tom en Tanja, enorm bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid, en hopelijk tot ziens!
Really spacious and neat apartment. The surroundings are lovely (woods, hills, nice villages and towns) and not so many tourists as you will find in other parts of Europe. Tom and Tanja are great hosts and very willing to share ideas and tips for visits.
Sehr schöne uns außergewöhnliche Ferienwohnung in absoluter Einsamkeit. Trotzdem aber so zentral gelegen, das wir Dresden, Leipzig, Meißen, Radebeul und sogar Prag gut erreichen konnten. In dem Flüsschen direkt am Haus konnte gebadet werden und die Eigentümer waren wirklich außerordentlich freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
Saubere und gut ausgestattete Unterkunft mit ganz besonderer Atmosphäre in sehr ruhiger Lage, die viel Platz auch für größere Familien bietet. Ideal, um Wanderungen in der Umgebung zu unternehmen. Nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter, mit denen man inspirierende Gespräche führen kann. Wir haben dort eine sehr erholsame Herbstwoche umgeben von wunderbar gefärbten Bäumen erlebt und kommen gerne wieder!
Die Wohnung ist hell und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Außenanlagen bieten viel Platz zum Relaxen. Im Fluß gebadet werden, Badeschuhe sind empfehlenswert. Das Haus liegt abgeschieden, es ist dort sehr ruhig.
The accommodation is beautifully surrounded by a small forest and the Freiberger Mulde, and is an ideal spot to start a hike, mountain bike ride or city trip. The house itself has been very well constructed by the owner, who as a professional artist has a keen eye for aesthetics and quality. From here you can easily reach multiple POI's such as Freiberg, Meissen, Dresden, Leipzig, Prague and of course the Sächsischen Schweiz. The owner, his wife and his son are very nice, warm and friendly people who will make every effort to make you feel welcome. We will return next year!
