Anche la famosa Abbazia di Orval e il suggestivo Domaine des Épioux, con i suoi 1.500 ettari di foresta e stagni, si trovano nelle vicinanze, offrendo innumerevoli opportunità per escursioni a piedi, in bicicletta e alla scoperta della natura.
La cucina professionale è completamente attrezzata per preparare i pasti con facilità, sia che cuciniate insieme o che vi rivolgiate a un servizio di catering. Per l'intrattenimento, gli ospiti possono usufruire di una sala giochi con biliardo, calcio balilla e ping-pong, oppure rilassarsi nell'area sauna dopo una giornata di esplorazione.

A beautiful house with a lot of space and all the amenities you could want, all in a genuinely nice area. What did not help was the negative ways the concierge and the present manuals tried to tell us how to behave and clean the house. There was a green book with a thumbs up and a red book with a thumbs down. In the red book were pictures of parts of the house that were not cleaned the right way. It felt childish and negative. Our children made some drawings on the terrace outside with chalk. When the concierge saw this, we had to reassure her we would clean it with water. There was no music allowed outside at all. Which is a shame because there is a nice big outside area with a BBQ en terrace. The concierge would walk on and into the property at random times without warning. This all made us feel a bit uneasy, staying at this beautiful place. What was nice was that the concierge asked the neighbors if we could use their field for a game of croquet, we brought with us. The owner of the house also very kindly invited us, to have a drink on Sunday at the celebration of a rally in front of the house. Overall, we have mixed feelings about our stay.

We werden goed rondgeleid in het huis. Ondanks dat het in het Frans was konden we goed begrijpen hoe alles werkte. De host was erg behulpzaam en stond de hele week voor ons klaar als we haar nodig hadden. De accommodatie was perfect. Om echter activiteiten te doen moest je minimaal een half uur rijden. Maar dat maakte niet heel erg huis omdat het huis al een activiteit opzich was. Het enige negatieve aan het huis vonden we de bedden en het geluid van de camping in de buurt. Voor de rest hebben we heel erg genoten van het verblijf in deze villa en willen we waarschijnlijk nog eens terug komen!
Goede ontvangst met uitgebreide rondleiding. Heel mooi huis met fijne kamers en volledige uitrusting. Rustige omgeving.
Een aangenaam en luxueus vakantiehuis erg geschikt voor grotere groepen. De conciërge is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De matrassen zijn van goede kwaliteit, maar naar ons aanvoelen wel wat aan de harde kant. Voor de rest enkel positieve ervaringen. In de omgeving kan je prachtige wandelingen langs de meanders van de Semois.
