From the living room window, you can look out towards the island of Barmen, and straight ahead lies the Stadthavet. Good swimming opportunities. The holiday apartment has a living room with a pleasant dining area and an open kitchen as well as a bedroom with 2 single beds. Sofa bed in the living room. Entrance with plenty of space for clothes and bathroom with shower cubicle, washbasin, and WC. The holiday home has electric heating.
Several good fishing spots in the area. For active families, there are many opportunities for great hikes in the mountains and along the water, as well as car trips in the area. Great surfing in Hoddevik and Ervika. Kvamfjellet, the highest mountain on the Selje Peninsula, offers a great view. Nearby is Vestkapp, Norway's westernmost point. The Kannesteinen, a rock cut by the sea just outside Måløy. Kråkenes lighthouse is also worth a visit.
The most famous attraction in the area is on the island of Selja with a monastery from the 12th century. There are scheduled boat trips from the village of Selje, the trip takes about 10-15 minutes. If you want to enjoy the sun and lazy days during summer, there is a great beach about 15 km away near the center of Selje. Otherwise, there are good swimming opportunities on site.
With a fishing license, you can fish in the salmon and trout river Åheimselva 20 km away. The lake Berstadvannet is 9 km away. Selje is a municipal center with shops, cafes, and restaurants. The nearest grocery store is Joker Flatraket 3.1 km away.
