Close by is Skjerjehamn with the Olav statue, an old trading post that was restored in 2007. Here you can have a good dinner and be served home-brewed beer, and every year at the end of July a fringe festival is organized with famous artists from near and far. About. 8.2 km to the town of Byrknes with a grocery store and service offer. Bergen is 1.5 hours away with its attractions, shops, and restaurants.
